Ballets by Jules Perrot (8/23/2025)

Published on 23 August 2025 at 23:12

As promised the time has come where the ballets by Jules Perrot (1810-1892) will be added. They will be added little by little and once I am finished I will add a post here. His most famous works are already in the compendium however he was very prolific; this may take a while. Most of his ballets have music by Cesare Pugni (1802-1870). Their most famous collaborations are Ondine (1843), La Esmeralda (1844), Pas de Quatre (1845), and Catarina (1846). Other notable collaborations he had were with Michael Andrew Costa for Alma (1842), Adolphe Adam for La Filleule Des Fées (1849), Giacomo Panizza for Faust (1848).

Happy learning
